Greg Bologna - Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Greg has lived in Chappaqua for over 13 years and has been a Westchester County resident for 24 years. He was born and raised in the Bronx, New York where he attended Saint Martin of Tours Elementary School and Mount Saint Michael High School. He decided to stay in the New York City area for his college education and enrolled in Herbert H. Lehman College located in the northwest corner of the Bronx. He graduated from Lehman College in 1976 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.
After his graduation from Lehman College, Greg enrolled part time in Fordham University’s School of Social Work to pursue a Masters in Social Work degree. In need of funds to support himself and finance his graduate studies, he also accepted a job with IBM in White Plains, New York. Within a year his interest in computers and software technology outweighed his desire to complete his graduate studies so he put his studies on hold to begin what would be a 20-year career at IBM. He held various positions in software engineering, project management, and management consulting.
In 1997 Greg decided to leave IBM and take a project management position in the technology division of a large financial services firm. During the last 8 years, he has held several project management positions and served as head of their software quality assurance testing organization.
Greg obtained his Real Estate Sales Person license in May 2004 and joined Century 21 North Star Realty in June 2004. He completed his Century 21 education and certification in November 2005. He works primarily on residential sales in Chappaqua, Millwood, Mount Kisco, Pleasantville, Peekskill, Cortlandt Manor, and Mohegan Lake. His familiarity with these communities and his ability to leverage his management and consulting skills from previous job experiences enable him to provide excellent real estate services to his clients.
Greg currently resides in Chappaqua where he is a lieutenant in the Chappaqua Volunteer Fire Department. He is also president of the Chappaqua Independent Fire Company. He has a daughter who attends the Bell Middle School.
